An iGaming industry leader in Costa Rica is looking for a full time Junior SEO Editor to join their team in their office in San José, Costa Rica.

We are looking for an entry' level SEO Editor that twill be responsible for executing — and contributing to — the overall content strategy. Your work duties may vary from day to day but will include tasks like editing an article written by one of our freelancers, researching topics and keywords for SEO, scheduling/publishing content on social media, working on graphics with our designer, reaching out to one of our in-house auto refinance experts to fact-check information or get a quote, and jumping in to help write when needed.

Most importantly, you’ll assist in keeping the content calendar on schedule and making sure our content adheres to our SEO guidelines.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Prepare content for publishing on WordPress including formatting posts using HTML/CSS, creating tables and charts, and sourcing stock photos

- Assist with keeping content calendar on schedule and making sure tasks in our project management tool are up-to-date
- Work with the Senior Editor to edit content according to the company style guide, provide feedback to our team of freelance writers, and make sure our content is consistent across channels
- Assist with social media by scheduling content, planning for events, and gathering assets needed
- Assist with SEO research and tasks, such as keyword research, optimizing content, and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Write and contribute content as needed

Skills/ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, this is an entry level job, but you need to understand the basics of SEO
- Confident in your writing abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Eager to learn all about the editorial process and content marketing

Job Experience
- At least one year of SEO content writing experience in a deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity AP style and using style guides
- Comfortable using WordPress and HTML/CSS
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Airtable, Asana, Trello, JIRA)
- Experience using SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz)
- Familiarity with American Sports is not required but is a huge plus.

This is not a remote position and requires schedule flexibility.
