We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a **Lead Windows Engineer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead engagement with Engineering and Application Development Teams to understand technical direction and ensure operational alignment for the support, maintenance, and lifecycle management of TIAAs Cyber Event Data Protection Solution.
- Develop orchestration and automation ensuring vaulted backups can be verified and recovered.
- Collaborate with IT Senior Leaders and Senior Level Business Stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and continuously adapt the Cyber Event Data Protection Services Program to meet changing risks, requirements, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare presentation materials, visual artifacts, and information repositories that provides value to on-going projects, audits, and business partners.
- Prepare SOP Documentation to be utilized by sa teams in case of a ransomware event.
- Provide technical support as needed including backup failures, replication, long-term retention, configuration, and client agent installations.
- Understand relevant IT Policy Standards in line with TIAA’s and Industries best practices.
- Employ agile methodology framework.

**Required Skills**:

- Experienced Windows Engineer/Architect with at least 6+ years’ experience in IT industry.
- In-depth knowledge on IT Infrastructure support (i.e., OS, Network, Storage)
- Data Center and Infrastructure architecture overall knowledge and understanding.
- Experience developing and managing a Data Protection Services and Backup Recovery Solution using Dell EMC Avamar, Networker, and Data Domains.
- Experience as a System Engineer installing, configuring, and updating Windows OS on Hybrid, Private, and Public Cloud.
- Experience as a VMware Engineer installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting.
- Strong trouble shooting skills, ability to debug OS, Hardware & Patching issues.
- Drives problems to root cause analysis through partnership with Application Development and Engineers, ensuring knowledge is captured for future events.
- High Availability - Possess working knowledge of Windows Clustering Services.
- Experience in PowerShell scripting, Python, Power BI or other programming languages.
- Familiar with DFS, NFS, SMB, Network Protocols, and Firewalls.
- Knowledge of Netapp NAS/SAN, Storage, and Filesystems
- Experience in LDAP / Active Directory Authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication protocols.
- Experience in supporting solutions in Private Cloud, Public Cloud or Hybrid Cloud Environment.
- Experience with SPLUNK or Moogsoft

**Preferred Skills**:

- AWS, Azure, or Google Certification preferred.
- Hands on experience with productivity software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Power BI and others
- ServiceNow, Remedy, or other Workflow software knowledge
- Knowledge and or experience with AWS Cloud Environment.
- Knowledge or hands on work with iData
- Experience with Jira or equivalent tool
