**_ Job Family Definition:_**

As part of the Global Operations Planning organization, the Demand Steering Control Tower (DSCT) helps to orchestrate demand steering activities across the regions with the objective of bringing alignment between miss-matched demand and supply. The DSCT works closely with the global supply planning, demand planning, customer operations and product management teams to execute demand steering campaigns, support the mainstream SKU initiative, proactive demand shaping as well as other tasks.

**In a typical day as a Demand Steering Analyst, you would**
- Supports DSCT Lead as regional point of contact for the respective customer operations, sales and supply chain planning team regarding demand steering activities.
- Analyzes sales performance metrics on a regular basis for the respective region to ensure objectives of the demand steering program are being met.
- Responsible for communicating weekly Demand Steering metrics to the extended teams and driving specific actions to address where performance is not at goal.
- Supports the DSCT working with the regional demand and supply planning teams to formulate demand steering activities to help optimize demand and supply balance to help avoid surplus inventory and supply disruptions.
- Supports the process defining of the mainstream SKU list on a quarterly basis as well as helping to maintain the integrity of the current mainstream SKU list.

**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
- Typically 1-2 years experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
- An alternative to 1-2 years of experience, a 4 year university degree in supply chain or engineering studies will be considered
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; specifically Excel and Power BI.

- Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage complex data requests.
- Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
- Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Developed relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to identify and summarize relevant trends from market and industry data.
