Solution Architect is responsible for building solutions that cover HPE's customers requirements specially in areas related to quoting support, proactive layer and lifecycle services, also quoting multivendor support and complete care coverage. Customer facing skills are crucial as well as highly developed time-management skills as volumes are high. Regional coverage is intended so multilingual skills are required. English as requisite and portuguese as desired.

Responsible for the end-to-end technical design of the complete solution which address the customer’s business problems, needs, and opportunities, including both the company products and services plus all necessary third-party components (e.g. software, hardware, consulting). Is aligned to a single or small group of related solutions (such as cloud, big data, mobility, etc.) that are aligned with the company's corporate strategy.

**In a typical day as an Operational Services Solution Architect, you would**
- Leverage a solid knowledge of customers' technical environment and a thorough knowledge of company products and solutions to translate the functional view into a technical view and design end-to-end solution architectures aligned to the business needs of the customer, within the specified scope and budget.
- Proactively work with the account team to provide solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer messaging.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to successfully deliver an effective solution to the customer.
- Participate in deep-dive discussions, articulates the value proposition, and successfully demonstrates benefits of the proposed solution in addressing and resolving customer business challenges.
- Track industry development for a specific domain through conferences, social media, business events, etc.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, computer science or equivalent qualification.**:

- **
3-5 years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical selling like pre sales, maintenance contracts or similar**:

- **MS Office and Excel intermediate.**:

- **
Good written and verbal communication skills and mastery in English and local languages.**
- Intermediate level of Portuguese is a plus.
- Knowledge of company business and technical tools and standard CRM systems and tools like **salesforce** is a plus.
- Good business and **financial acumen**, with an awareness of functional responsibilities of various customer business roles.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including appropriate due diligence.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task while keeping track of others
