**About the Role**:
The Acquisition Sourcing Manager I position is responsible for developing and executing supply base integration strategies for acquired companies. Establish & enhance Supplier relationships to drive sourcing & supplier initiatives to meet or exceed product quality, service & deliver sustainable cost reductions, with a strong focus on reducing or mitigating risk in the Supply Chain with Tier 1 and lower tier suppliers through a Global Risk Management Program. Responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders and aligning on optimal sourcing strategies as well as developing and refining tools to execute those strategies. Responsible for identifying and securing a VIP pipeline during integration.

**Your Responsibilities Include**:

- Provide strategic influence while building value-add relationships with 3rd party suppliers and respective internal stakeholders to increase sourcing efficiency.
- Ensures optimal balance between collaborative engagement and competitive pressure to ensure maximum value is realized.
- Negotiates value improvements and manages optimal supplier contracts for strategic acquisition suppliers.
- Manages strategic supplier relationships for the acquisition and understands the strategic differentiators for each supplier.
- Interacts with Site Operational Procurement Teams and finance to define timing for standard cost setting activities and AOP inclusion.
- Owns annual budget process for assigned acquisitions as well as crisis or systematic issue resolution.
- Establish early, new supplier involvement to achieve development performance goals, support project timelines, and manage product cost.
- Gathers Market Intelligence and trends for new categories or technologies and develops new category strategies where required, supports those strategies through transfer.
- Harmonize integration strategy with Global Sourcing and Category Strategy objectives
- Manages resourcing and head count budgets for each assigned acquisition
- Identifies risks within the acquired supply base and works closely with stakeholders to eliminate or take mitigating actions for strategic risks.
- Leads post diligence assessment activities with the acquired entity and drives the sourcing integration strategy for strategize and align.
- Works closely with and engages on proactive information sharing with other Global Sourcing Team Members to optimize acquired supply base where possible.
- Partners with Global Sourcing and Integration Operations stakeholder to develop and refine tools to support the acquisitions process.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System, and the appropriate regulations for the area they support. Ensure all employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Licenciature degree in Industrial Engineering, Medical Science or Field Related.
- English Level required: C1:(90-94%).
- Minimum of 6 years Procurement (Sourcing) and Supplier Relationship Management Experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior Experience with Resin or Chemicals in the Med Device Industry is an advantage.
- Experience working with acquisitions.
- At least 7 years of experience in similar position.

**Preferred Qualification**
- Additional certifications or qualifications in Materials Management or Supply chain preferred.
- Previous people management experience preferred.
