Manufacturing Engineer I

**What will you be doing**:
Provides assistance to the manufacturing floor, plans and undertakes Equipment preventive maintenance activities: scheduled maintenance, supervising maintenance staff, diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns, create maintenance procedures, managing stocks of suppliers and equipment.

Develops test schemes, electromechanical fixtures, and devices, with programming microcontrollers or PLC, thinks critically to improve production efficiency and turn-around time, measures parts, creates prototypes, tests parts.

Supports CAPA, SCAR, NCMR and pFMEA activities, supports equipment and production line validation activities, produces and reviews product documentation including manufacturing work instructions, drawings, proposals, and technical reports, perform and / or supervise testing, data collection and analysis, research, and prototype creation, perform layout changes and workstations development and implementation, 2D CAD, 3D CAD design and drawing support using SolidWorks is preferred.

**What we expect from you.**

From the technical side we require: A four-year technical degree such as ME, IE, MET, EE, Physics, similar technical degree, or equivalent experience, experience in 3D Modeling using SolidWorks is a plus, experience in Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting, experience in programming Microcontrollers and PLCs is preferred, Lean manufacturing is preferred, statistical related certificates such as 6 Sigma is preferred.

Also, the ability to work on multiple sustaining projects simultaneously, experience in design of components for plastics injection molding, metal forming/stamping, and electro-mechanical devices, able to plan & supervise workload for up to 5 (five) people.
