Overall, the supplier information provided which contains supplier ID, supplier name, and complete address needs to be verified and updated.

Analyst is responsible for verification, validation and to ensure the cleanse up activities follows a defined process.

The spreadsheet will contain the supplier ID, supplier name, complete address, and 3rd party identifier along with the corresponding 3rd party identifier name and address.

Supplier Master Data Name and Address Clean Up
1. Analyze the name and address data provided for the supplier IDs in the Excel spreadsheet by comparing current data extracted from Enterprise Supplier Data (ESD) with data provided by Trusted 3rd party
2. Determine if the name and address are basically the same between ESD and Trusted 3rd party (maybe minor spelling differences, formatting difference, or one address is more complete than the other) or if they are different.
3. If name and/or address is different, investigate and determine which name and/or address is correct
a. Search for supplier via Internet search to determine correct name or address
b. Contact supplier if unable to find and validate info via Internet search
4. Disposition each individual supplier ID in spreadsheet (enter URL used to verify name and/or address)
5. If ESD name and/or address is incorrect, then this will require a request to be submitted in ESD for the info to be updated

Qualifications: Excellent Excel spreadsheet capability, excellent communication skills (written and spoken) Advanced English level, Internet skills (searching), excellent attention to detail.
