Success in this role requires taking on challenging problems and working with experienced team members to produce a high-quality solution. As we continue our explosive growth, this role will be foundational for the Appvance mobile team, with significant potential to be a leader in the future.
**What you will do**:
- Join the mobile team as a foundational representative for the Android platform.
- Take ownership of the Appvance Android projects and work closely with an experienced mentor to improve and maintain them.
- Act as the primary Android representative as we design and build a greenfield next-generation mobile testing library for iOS and Android.
- Help to maintain the process and culture of a modern remote-first mobile team.
**What you will bring**:
- Confidence in your ability to solve problems and create novel solutions on Android using Kotlin.
- Familiarity with modern remote development processes and related tooling, including GIT, Atlassian, and Slack.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Deep knowledge of the Android platform, including Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with reflection.
