**Job Description**:
We are looking for a passionate Python Developer to design, develop and deploy software solutions. As a Python Developer, you will be working on extremely demanding and technically challenging projects for some of the world’s top financial institutions. You will enjoy a highly collaborative working environment as we continue our excellent track record of successful project delivery. In this position, you will be part of a team focused on streamlining data capture, moving the business away from manual processes, and providing self-serviceable tools and dashboards; from initiation through release, utilizing SDLC methodologies and leveraging Agile/Scrum concepts and principles where appropriate. You must have a comprehensive understanding of complex business processes from a software development standpoint so as recommend solutions or improvements to those processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Streamline data capture, moving the business away from manual processes, and providing self-serviceable tools and dashboards.
- Review business needs, provide technical design, implementation, test and software maintenance.
- Assist with performance tuning, production bug fixes, and help to guide process improvement
- Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and fix existing system bugs.
- Engage and learn about complex business rules related to financial areas as: Capital Markets, Private Equity and Asset Management
- Are eager to identify areas of improvement in the existent systems and feel empowered to proposed and implement creative solutions
- Interact constantly and dynamically with BA's, QA's and other peers to clarify business requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems in Python.
- Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code.
- Have ability to drive projects from inception to completion.
- Advise on software development best practices.
- Lead technical design and code reviews to drive projects towards the best results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex methodologies and results to the technical team.
- Collaborate with the local Unit team initiatives

**Skills Required**:

- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Demonstrable work experience as Python Developer, software developer or similar function
- L2: 1+year
- L3: 3+ years
- L4: 6+ years
- L5: 7+ years
- Should be able to eventually lead, own, and drive projects from start to end, including leading other resources of similar or less experience
- Be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
- Knowledge of the Principles & Patterns of Agile Software
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot existing code and maintain existing systems.
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Python experience specifically working with a data science pack: Pandas, Numpy, etc.
- Web front end development
- Experience working with version control tools such as GIT and CI/CD tools like Team City/Jenkins/Octopus.
- Experience in middle tier and back-end development, web APIs, micro services, message queues, database interfaces.
- Experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, or other database technology
- Experience with Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Experience with Threading and Performance optimization.
- Experience with software quality, testing procedures and build automation tools
- Experience with Unit Testing, Mocking and Dependency Injection frameworks
- Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, skills and grow competencies
