The Tech Lead role will suit an experienced Senior Software Engineer capable of setting coding standards and determining functional and technical requirements. In this role you should demonstrate mastery in at least one main technology and proficiency in multiple programming languages; while consistently delivering high-quality work.
You’ll be responsible for analyzing problems, creatively developing solutions, and implementing them efficiently. You must be capable of managing priorities, deadlines, and requirements. Key to the overall success of the team will be your ability to manage time effectively, ensure work is completed and support the team with implementation guidance, development support, and code reviews.
When working with clients, you should be capable of accurately estimating work for sprints, forecasting longer-term project milestones, and preparing demos, proposals, and progress reports. You must feel comfortable communicating issues and potential solutions to the stakeholders.
As a Team Lead, you must foster a culture of honesty, transparency, and respect. You will approach conflict logically and rationally and set an example for the team and colleagues regarding respectful communication, punctuality, and preparedness.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or.NET
- Thorough understanding of specific FrontEnd and BackEnd Frameworks (Angular, React, NodeJS, SpringBoot, Entity Framework)
- Experience with clouding platforms, such as Azure or AWS
- Broad experience working with databases
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience managing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong ability to coach developers, helping them improve their skills and grow their careers
- Solid communication and people skills
