Citi Internship in Technology Program is a supportive hiring program, designed to help people of all ages to start a career in Technology where you will receive a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi, involving help desk administration activities, including network maintenance, technical support, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. You may have already worked in the sector, or this could be your first experience in the industry We value your knowledge, skills, and experience regardless of how and where you have developed them. We believe that hiring people from different backgrounds with diverse perspectives brings advantages to our teams. This program is open to people of all ages and experience with technology skills and/or technical aptitude that are looking to develop a career in technology. Assignments focus on attaining core competencies in any of the four core functions at Citi: Global Functions, Institutional Clients Group, Global Consumer Banking, Enterprise O&T. Areas of Technology to work in: - Network - Mainframe - Distributed Services - Cloud - Automation - Process Improvement - Service Assurance - ITIL **Responsibilities**: - Performs routine tasks/assignments - Evaluate issues using existing procedures or similar/related experiences - Works under direct supervision with detailed procedures - Participate in control activities and make recommendations for improvements - May service a very limited number of products/services - Applies knowledge of routine work area procedures - Completes standardized activities, diagnose and resolve problems - Exchanges basic information with other co-workers - Resolves task related problems in straightforward situations - Selects from a limited number of clearly defined options Basic Qualifications: - Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering fields - Basic knowledge in operating systems - Basic knowledge in programming, networking, and infrastructure - Intermediate/Advance English proficiency - Demonstrated analytical skills - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Cooperation and focus in achieving group and client objectives - Innovative and creative in solving problems - Quick thinking and detail oriented - Ability to multi-task Preferred Qualifications: 0-6 months of experience working as part of the IT department or related industry experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
