**Background on Boston Scientific Cartago**:
This role will be one of the first positions hired to support a green field / startup operation for the 3rd Boston Scientific site in Costa Rica. A green field startup operation for a large multinational company with strong presence on the region, represents a unique opportunity for any professional on her/his career. Initial roles will be key on the development of a new team / culture and on the construction of a strategy to build a brand new and large manufacturing site that will soon support many patients around the world.

**About this role**

Plan, organize and coordinate all aspects related to the Training process.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Initially this leader will have to build a new team of trainers that will later train several direct labor for products being transfer into new manufacturing location.
- Will be responsible to coordinate all activities related to the creation of a new training lab in our new mfg site Cartago.
- Schedule, plan and supervise Training requirements. Oversee the efficient use of equipment and materials. Support cost reduction projects, whether on materials, processes, or standards, among others. Support and/or lead process, equipment and products transfer processes.
- Define Training objectives, policies and goals. Maintain good relations with personnel under his/her supervision. Coordinate, along with the training specialists, training scheduling and meeting goals proposed for the year, as well as provide the necessary support to production supervisores/managers an coreteam in continuous improvement through projects and initiatives from all personnel.
- Support employee-safety oriented initiatives: rotation programs of line personnel, and the use of safety equipment in the production area, among others.
- Excellent communication with all levels of the organization.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience: At least 10 years
- English level: 85-90%
- Flexibility to travel 60% of time or move to Brasil for first 9 months
- Experience in the Medical Device Industry
- Bachelor or Licenciature degree in Industrial Engineer or field related
- Microsoft office
- Communication skills, quality oriented and planning
