You will be a key member of Medtronic Medical (Site manufacturing Supply Chain Team) in Costa Rica.

In this role, you will work in conjunction with your manager to execute focused supply chain solutions which support business objectives, including supply planning, inventory management, and project management. You will also partner & support process improvement opportunities throughout each stage.

**A Day in the Life

**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
  • Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers.
  • Collaborate with varied business or system analysts, project team and business performing through project and organizational needs
  • Plans and analyzes activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
  • Evaluate causes as well as effects of business problems, analyze options, and propose solutions.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree required in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree
  • Strong analytical, planning, Excel and organizational skills
  • Bilingual English - Spanish Communication and Business Proficiency, and excellent written and verbal communication

**Nice to Have**

  • Experience in Supply or Distribution Planning
  • Knowledge or certification of SAP, Power BI, Lean Six Sigma, APICS are desired
  • APICS (CPIM/CSCP) certification
  • High level of integrity and accountability, curiosity and inquisitiveness
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and deliver concise updates to various stakeholders
