**Purpose Statement**
To develop competence in strategic and/or operational work while performing in a professional work situation with emphasis placed upon training and development, and to expand professional preparation experiences far beyond the potential inherent in the classroom and laboratory activities. Each internship is unique, based on matching the educational and career objectives of the student to the activities of a particular functional area and its specific needs. The internship will focus on a major project for the entire period. Student Interns are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to BSC's goals. Internships are typically designed for undergraduate students. Interns are expected to learn from the experience as well as contribute to Boston Scientific's goals.

**What We Are Looking For**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an intern in our medical devices company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Data Management: Efficiently extract, organize, and input information into databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Price Analysis: Analyze publicly and privately available price quotations to support decision-making processes.
- Customer and Partner Pricing: Maintain pricing information for customers and business partners, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Government Contract Analysis: Evaluate and analyze government contracts to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports using tools like Excel and Tableau, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Education: Currently enrolled in the final year of a degree program in fields such as industrial engineering, administration, economics, computer science, or other business and data-related disciplines.
- Positive Attitude: Display a positive and proactive approach, showing enthusiasm for the work and maintaining a can-do attitude.
- Organizational Skills: Possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively within a team environment, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of both internal and external customers, ensuring their satisfaction and building positive relationships.
- Passion: Exhibit a genuine passion for the field of medical devices and a drive to learn and contribute to the industry.
- Analytical Abilities: Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Excel and Tableau, or a willingness to learn and develop proficiency in these systems.
