**A Day in the Life**
As the HVAC Maintenance Mechanic II, you will be responsible for the daily operation, preventive maintenance, and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, and fire protection systems to ensure proper facility operations. The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic II will maintain and operate equipment that supports a variety of operations - labs, clean rooms, office space, plant equipment, data centers, and warehouses.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.
- Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
- Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
- Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
- May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation into existing manufacturing equipment.
- May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification and high school baccalaureate degree in addition to prior work experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Advanced technical degree related to HVAC or facilities maintenance is preferred.

**Nice to Have**
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics.
- Preferably in Manufacturing plants.
- Preferred communication English intermediate-advanced.
- Experience in - air conditioning - water cooling - positive displacement - diaphragm pumps - water cooling system.
- Desirable demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485 requirements.
- Knowledge of the EHS field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to refine information and translate it into effective communication at multiple levels.
