Business Systems Analyst

NI is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the Software Services team in the IT department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze, identify, gather, and create requirements for solutions to business problems
- Describe and communicate the potential impacts from system changes
- Propose innovative operational changes including people, processes, and systems
- Prepare user acceptance tests and perform functional, acceptance and regression testing, support the maintenance, execution of automated testing, as well as reporting and analysis of these tests
- Ensure change management to enable business readiness for uptake of new capabilities
- Assist with management, prioritization, troubleshooting and escalation of issues
- Provide input to product owner on system priorities to sustain current systems and prepare for future business demands
- Anticipate and mitigate project risk, document decisions, and manage change
- Assist in cost/benefit analysis and process modeling
- Create mockups and/or wireframes to assist the development team in creating user interfaces
- Ability to collaborate with business and product owners to define system requirements
- Comfortable working with technical teams and business areas
- Understand business priorities, scope, objectives
- Agile mindset to deliver often and iteratively
- Interest and curiosity in technology
- Self-Starter, proactive nature, problem-solving skills, prioritize work, multitask, and quickly switch context
- Excellent communicator, both within the product team, as well as communicating with stakeholders and customers

**Requirements**:

- BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Systems Analysis or working with development teams
- Understand impacts across systems, both upstream and downstream
- Ability to gather, understand and translate business requirements into to system requirements
- Test case management, execution, and analysis experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Experience working in an agile team
- Project management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL like languages and relational databases
- Understanding of cloud-based technologies and platforms
