**ROLE DESCRIPTION**:
As Cloud Security Architect, you will work on client engagements and Hakkoda teams in the US and Costa Rica. You’ll work directly with clients - usually remotely - and you’ll take ownership of security architecture frameworks and best practices.

You will have the opportunity to build on your proven engineering skills and leverage your interest in inspiring others, building strong relationships, and creating a true followership. You’d be joining a team of passionate, forward thinking engineers and data scientists who are charting a new course. In a collaborative team setting, you'll work closely with others but also operate autonomously with little direction. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant fields
- 4+ years of experience designing and maintaining cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP
- Expert level in IAM (Identity and access Management)
- Assists with the evaluation, design, testing, and/or implementation of new Security Framework solutions.
- Experience with LDAP/SAML Federated Authentication is required.
- Experience with AWS cognito is preferred
- Experience with Azure AD is preferred
- Experience in security solutions, practice development, architecture, and cloud technologies (Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible) and Security monitoring tools Cloud Watch, Datadog, Dynatrace.
- Technical Certifications preferred (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Security)
- Full stack development experience (i.e.. Development, Security, Infrastructure, Identity, Application, etc.)
- Knowledge of information security concepts and technologies such as: networking, network segmentation, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IPS\IDS, network analyzers, data loss prevention, security event management, encryption technologies, proxies.
- Experience analyzing production cloud security systems to identify areas for improvement in cost, scale, reliability and functionality.
- Experience in CI/CD tooling CircleCI, Jenkins, Github and others.
