ABOUT THE JOB
When performing at this position you will have the following responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Improving company cash flow liquidity and profit by:
- Managing collection activities to ensure continuous payment flows:
- Communicate effectively with customers on a timely basis and provide excellent customer service regarding collection issues, discrepancies, and short payments.
- Perform detailed account reconciliation to identify and drive resolution of disputed receivables.
- Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
- Work closely with key teams such as Credit Management, Customer Service, Sales and District Managers in mitigating collection risk and external customers to resolve receivable issues and to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Ensure weekly/monthly collections targets are met/exceeded.
- Escalate unresolved issues to management in a timely manner and follow through issues until final resolution.
- Attend stakeholders meeting to discuss debtor performance and address issues as required.
- Responsible for activities assigned by the Collections Team Manager.
- Reliable, proactive approach to entrusted tasks.
- Accounts reconciliation, discrepancies and charge back resolutions.
ABOUT YOU
A motivated talent, who brings along the following background:
- Degree in business administration or accounting is preferred.
- C1 English level, B2+ Portuguese needed as well
- 1 year of experience as Credit or Collection Analysis in the shared services industry
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records paired with Excel proficiency
- SAP knowledge, FI module. FSCM is a plus.
- Attention to detail.
