The GBS San Jose Financial Services is a high performing team responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Biopharmaceutical Finance and their business partners for the Emerging Markets. The organization performs certain Record-to-Report, Procure -to-Pay, Travel & Entertainment, Order-to-Cash and other related activities from regionally centralized locations in San Jose, Costa Rica.
The GBS (Global Business Services) Financial Services - San Jose Procure-to-Pay Recovery Senior Analyst will be responsible for conducting key accounts payable activities such as of handling escalations, solving conflicts for AP accounts and troubleshooting invoices/credits and duplicities cases. For this position is required to have abilities managing a high volume of requests, supporting the Markets and working along with stakeholders to provide an excellent customer service in an accurate time.
P2P Recovery Senior Analyst will be a key player within the P2P organization. This position will be as main contact for local finance and all regions supported by GBS San Jose, performing sensible activities such as accounts payables inquiries and processing, controls related performance, inquiries regarding any issue related to the P2P process (Such as: Credit Recovery/Invoice Duplicity review /Accounts Payables), etc. Also, the P2P Recovery Senior Analyst will help Genpact with any problem faced on their different activities and having contact with many different areas within the GBS organization (GL, O2C, Reconciliations, etc.). In addition, this role provides exposure with the Senior Leadership of the P2P organization, enabling the participation in different tasks like monthly aging or metrics reviews, detail process review, executing and guaranteeing excellence on the audit controls related to the process that applies for the P2P organization.
The objective of this role is to enable GBS Procure to Pay to meet their business objectives by providing quality accounts payable analysis and overall business support for Site Leadership, market colleagues and external vendors
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizes workload, prioritizes, and proactively follows up on outstanding items.
- Owns process resolution from start to finish, ensuring the best possible outcome.
- Act as a liaison between the business and Accounts Payable working to find solutions to issues that may arise.
- Maintains and when possible exceeds metrics and goals.
- Takes initiative in identifying processes and initiatives that fits into our strategies.
- Thinks strategically with strong analytical and process management skills.
- Actively supports our GBS value proposition by keeping processes aligned with our delivery model and global standard, enhancing our internal controls structures and optimizing our processes.
- Leads and supports, in-house processes, continuous improvement initiatives, small projects and stakeholder collaborations.
- Effective distribution and monitoring of workloads.
- Independently manages formal relationship with key internal stakeholders and colleagues of diverse backgrounds, including different departments, cultures, business units and countries
- Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and senior leaders on implementing different initiatives throughout the P2P area.
- Supports the management team and other colleagues as needed.
- Provides guidance, training and support to new colleagues
- Supports escalation process by quickly finding common ground and solving issues for the good of all.
- Ensure the existence of adequate internal controls.Responsible for keeping accurate and up-to-date Work Instructions, Job Aids and Desktop Procedures documentationDesire participation in Make it Possible initiatives across the site

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- 3-5 years of relevant functional accounting or finance experience
- Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) require
