Production Supervisor

This position is responsible for supervising the production processes and the fulfillment of the key performance indicators of the operation. by managing staff on the shop floor and coordinating resources. His/her duties include assigning employees to production stations, monitoring production levels at different points in the production process, and developing workplace policies. Ensures compliance with good manufacturing and quality practices, provides constant coaching and feedback to ensure compliance with standards. He/she facilitates a healthy environment, ensuring that the people on his team live the principles and values of the company.

**Role and responsibilitites**
- Achieves production results and critical indicators of operational personnel, communicating job expectations; plan, monitor and evaluate the results of the work; train, advise and discipline employees; initiate, coordinate and enforce systems, policies and procedures.
- Completes the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; achieve job results; Establishing priorities; monitor progress; check schedules; solve problems; Report processing flow results in shift production summaries.
- He/she is responsible for keeping his team highly trained and guiding, generates development for his staff.
- Maintains the work flow by monitoring the steps of the process; set processing variables; observe checkpoints and equipment; monitor staff and resources; study methods; implement cost reductions; develop reporting procedures and systems; facilitate fault corrections within process control points; initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Maintains quality service by setting and enforcing the organization's standards.
- Ensures the operation of the equipment by requesting repairs; evaluate new equipment and techniques.
- Provides production information, compiling, initiating, classifying and analyzing production performance data and records; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Creates and reviews systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implement the change.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment by educating and directing staff on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintains a healthy employment relationship, ensuring compliance with human resources policies and procedures and adherence to the values and principles of the company,
- Solves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigate problems; identify solutions; recommend action.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establishment of personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participate in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
- Executes specific projects assigned to it in pursuit of continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:
University degree the areas of engineering, industrial production, administration or the like that qualify you for the position. - Proven work experience in positions related to production supervision of no less than 7 years, preferably in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceutical or the like.
