**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**: Supports multiple departments such as HR, payroll, accounting, project management, safety, quality, training meetings or committees as needed. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. May assist with recruiting activities, including job fairs, coordination of interviewing, coordination of new hire start dates and new hire 90-day onboarding coordination with Manager. May assist with payroll functions including timekeeping, processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
