**We are looking for a Mid-Senior Solutions Architect**

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team. Suppose you are a talented, mature software engineer who is passionate about problem-solving, enthusiastic about building microservice architectures, comfortable with database technologies, and focused on delivering business value in the health sciences market. In that case, you belong on our team

**What you'll need**:

- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of professional work experience, including 6+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years architecting solutions preferred
- Advanced C# and.NET
- Expertise in relational database design, optimization, and building schemas on reading from Enterprise data lakes
- Software integration experience in RESTful, web-based microservice architectures
- Experience working in a pre-sales environment supporting the sales team with solution design and proposals, including effort estimation and answering technical customer questions about the proposed solution
- Strong ability and interest in exploring new technologies as part of pre-sales engagements that require rapid solution design and feasibility assessment
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Some experience in the life sciences industry is a plus
- Prior experience extending analytics platforms, especially TIBCO Spotfire, is a plus

**What you'll do**:

- Identify technical solutions to enable customer workflows and integrate customer systems with PerkinElmer software products and TIBCO Spotfire
- Provide technical expertise on project definition, scope, and delivery estimates
- Build and deliver customer-focused solutions
- Craft well-documented, reusable, and testable code
- Demo solutions to customers and process feedback
- Explore opportunities for defining new Services offerings based on the latest PerkinElmer software solutions
