Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement- Minimum of 5 years of graphic design, interaction design, visual design, color theory, use of texture, typography, as well as visual presentation development and layout or user experience design, preferably within the financial services industry.-
- Bachelor’s Degree required in graphic design, engineering or related field.-
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premier, and Sketch.-
- Proven experience and a track record in the planning and conducting of product usability tests.-
- Experience in B2B design with a strong portfolio demonstrating focus on B2B work.-
- Work in an agile environment.-
- Basic working knowledge of CS5 and HTML, a plus.-
- Must have excellent prioritizing and organizational skills, attention to detail and possess the ability to work independently in a team environment.-
- Must be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.-
- Ability to problem solve, analyse potential solutions, and use good sound judgment to make decisions.-
- Must have excellent production and quality control skills.-
- Well-rounded knowledge of creative, video, web, social media platforms, and digital behaviours.-
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,along with the ability to listen for understanding.-
- Strong commitment to ensuring quality and a desire to meet and/or exceed marketing’s expectations.-
- Exceptional design aesthetic, variations on styles, and awareness of design trends / innovation.-
- Ability to use video editing / animation programs (Premiere, After Effects, HTML5, etc.) a plus.- **Responsibilities**:
- Provide ideas to enhance the user flow / journey. Present psychological cues that can be integrated into the interface to improve usability, add value and benefits.-
- Understand how the interface is being received by the clients and the experience that they have throughout their journey.-
- Recommend products / features that will give the business a competitive edge in the market through competitive analysis and keeping up with industry trends.-
- Communicate effectively with marketing staff on how the chosen look, feel, and overall composition support the marketing objective and/or business purpose.-
- Identify areas of the website (desktop and mobile) that can be better enhanced, creating the best possible user experience through user interactions and animated visuals. QC testing for bugs and inconsistencies.Maintain brand guidelines of interactivities and animations.-
- Design storyboards of video transitions and animations.-
- Ensure projects reflect corporate branding and business strategy.-
- Work effectively with external advertising and design vendors to achieve critical design and marketing goals set by marketing management.-
- Deliver creative assets to agencies or vendors as outlined in media plan provided by Content Strategy team.-
- Establish priorities for self and often work concurrently on multiple complex tasks.-
- Perform other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
