Moody’s is seeking an expert Mid-Level Designer to join our creative team. This role is responsible for developing custom designs across an array of digital and print materials, with a strong emphasis on generating innovative slide layouts, graphics, and animations for PowerPoint presentations. Additional responsibilities include the development of custom logos, infographics, websites, social media and event graphics, and a wide range of marketing collateral. The Mid-Level Designer should possess a passion for design, with the ability to think conceptually and collaborate with a diverse set of team members and business partners.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Create innovative and brand-compliant designs, meeting project timelines and internal client parameters.
- Develop impactful and multifaceted custom graphics and layouts for PowerPoint that are rich in detail, animation, and other sophisticated design elements.
- Collaborate with teams to collectively produce and innovative designs.
- Present work to the creative team / clients, bringing a point of view.
- Be responsible for design of advertising campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with brand governance across all communications to ensure consistency.
- Proactively suggest improvements to Moody’s brand and work alongside team to update documentation.

Qualifications:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with outstanding English proficiency
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in art, design, or related field
- Able to work under pressure,, and rapidly evolving situations with a high attention to detail.
- Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, typography, photography, iconography, and digital media, strong presentation and organizational skills preferred.
- Ability to manage and take ownership of work across multiple projects simultaneously, spanning varying deadlines.
- Capability to refine business concepts and abstract ideas into clear and compelling images with the skill to iterate quickly.
- Superb communication skills with a proven track record of interacting with colleagues / senior leadership in cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding time management skills
- Experience with infographic design is a plus.

**Required Technical Skills**:

- Highly with designing presentations/slides (PPT, Keynote, or InDesign), including template creation and developing graphics, slide layouts, and animations.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability to modify existing code.
- Strong understanding of information hierarchy, displaying meaningful details in a way that readers can easily digest.
- Familiarity with the latest and print design trends, standards, and technologies
- Experience with modern web design tools (e.g., Web flow, Figma) is a plus.
