**Job Description**:
Experian Services is looking for **an entry level / junior** Data Engineer to join their Decision Sciences team. This is a unique opportunity to get involved with a revenue driving team who relies on an entirely cloud based analytical platform. The engineer will be responsible for capturing and ingesting data from multiple data sources and formats to put into a highly flexible database that the team uses to report on the state of the business and drive revenue.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Writes and maintains data ETL processes
- DBA-related tasks such as maintaining and building tables and procedures
- Builds reports to monitor the health and timeliness of data received and loaded
- Manages data and departmental document repository ensuring up-to-date versions and correct document storage
- Shares ideas with other teammates

**Qualifications**:

- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related analytical field.
- A good understanding of SQL
- Must understand relational database concepts
- Must have some knowledge and understanding of a programming / scripting language (in addition to SQL)
- Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening
- 2+ years of related experience
- Experience working with large datasets
- Experience building reporting in Tableau or similar BI tool
- Experience with ETL tools, particularly Alteryx
- Experience with Git version control software
- Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred, Java/JavaScript a plus)
