ThefocusofthispositionistoworkcollaborativelywithotherSenior SoftwareEngineersand leadthedefinitionoffuturerequirementsofservercustomersoftwarebyperformingresearchandanalysistoprioritizecapabilitiesin Intel Xeonroadmap. WillworkonextendingexistingSoftwareorcreatea setofcustomerconsumableSoftwaretoobserveintothesystemstateinternalsincludingIntelArchitecturecomponents. WillalsoneedtoputcustomersfirstbyenablingstrategiesandsolutionstousesuchSoftwaretosolvein-fieldand atscalechallenges.

Thepositionwillinvolvetechnicalleadershipandmayneeddesigninganddevelopingcodein Python and C/C++tomeetcustomerserverdebugneeds.ItwillalsoincludeleveragingexistingcodeanddebuggingandfixingissuesintheexistingPython and C/C++codebases,whicharelargeandcomplex.

**Qualifications**:

- MastersorBachelor'sDegreeinComputerScience,ComputerEngineering,Electrical/ElectronicEngineeringorrelatedfieldwith10+yearsofbelowexperience.
- IntermediatetoadvancedEnglishlevel.
- Proventrackrecordofdevelopingsoftware and usedebugsolutionsforcomplexhigh-performancemulti-coreCPUorequivalentproductswithacapabilitytoresolvecustomerissues.ThepositionrequiresaworkingunderstandingofIntelArchitecture-basedsystemsat aboard-level.
- ThispositionrequiresSoftwareArchitecturedevelopmentandmethodologyskillsthatrequiresleading,architect,design,implementSoftwaresolutionswhosebreadthspansfromlow-levelhardware (IntelArchitecturex86)interfacingtoGUIdevelopment.Strongbackgroundexperienceinprogramminginlanguagessuchas Python, C/C++.AlsoexperiencewithDataStructuresandOperatingSystems.
- ExperienceinvalidationorenablingsiliconDFxcapabilitieswithexpertiseinareasofpre-siliconandpost-siliconverification/validationprocessesandchallenges.
- Knowledgeofgoodsoftwarepractices,suchasrequirementswritingandexecution, Agileframework,goodtestingmethodologiessuchasunitandregressiontesting.

**Preferred**Qualifications**:

- ExperiencewithSoftwareVersionControl andContinuousIntegrationautomationtoolssuchasGitlab, GitHub, Jenkins.
- Knowledgeofsoftwareengineeringpractices,includingtheuseofdesignpatterns,object-orienteddevelopment,service-orientedarchitecture, andoverallsystemdesignmethodologies.
- Experienceidentifyingcustomersolutionopportunitiesandtechnicalareasofimprovement,witha singularfocusonsustainableCustomervalue.
- Knowledge of Linuxdevelopmentenvironments.KnowledgeofLinuxinternals.
- Knowledgein CloudSolutions/Infrastructureas apoweruser(Docker,Kubernetes, AWS, etc.).
- UnrestrictedLocalWorkPermit
