**About the role**:
Supports the team to develop engineering solutions related to products, materials, processes, or equipment performance. Under direct supervision/guidance, compiles, analyzes and reports operational, test, and research data to establish expected performance for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials. Works cross-functionally and in tight collaboration with the broaden organization to help and assist technical activities. Research oriented job: acumen to develop and conduct descriptive and experimental studies is highly desirable.

**You're Responsibilities include**:

- Assist senior engineers to develop, coordinate, execute, analyze and document engineering studies/ research activities.
- Effectively communicate the outcome of technical activities you were involved in.
- Support and successfully contribute to project teams through the following activities: product design and development, test of materials, preparation of specifications, process capability studies, research investigations, statistical analysis, report preparation, and process/test documentation.
- Supports solutions to a variety of problems of simple scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
- Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from test results, in a diligent and timely manner
- Assist in troubleshooting on new products/process problems as related to design, material, or process.
- Train, technicians/operators on new processes and/or test procedures. Support concepts and designs for new products/processes, and submits idea disclosures.
- Works cooperatively with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing on projects of varying complexity to ensure project success. Responsible for engineering documentation.
- Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments.
- Designs, procures, and fabricates tooling and fixtures.
- Acumen to develop and conduct descriptive and experimental studies is highly desirable.
- Knowledgeable in Thermodynamics and Heat transfers principles is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in Matlab software management is a plus.

**What we're looking for**:

- Academic background: Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- Active student certification.
- At least 80% of the career approved (Bachelor´s or Licentiate degree).
- English level: 90% or above.
- Availability of 38 - 40 hours per week in site
