Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Software Engineer

Come and join the Design Services Engineering Team in Global Customer Success and work with the Intel Data Center and Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI) as Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer.

You will be part of a team chartered to build **Scalable Fleet Solutions** for server customers to enable on-time high-quality launches of Intel server programs, as well as in-Fleet product experience. You must be a quick learner, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. You will have opportunities to participate in various projects as part of product development or research.

The focus of this position is to work collaboratively and support Software Engineers building an Analytic Backend Solution. Will work on deploying and maintaining the hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure design by working collaboratively to create an Analytics platform. Will also need to put customers first by keeping the Cloud Infrastructure available to be used to solve in-field and at scale challenges.

**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field

5+ years of collective experience in:

- DevOps and IT related areas.
- Working with cloud platforms. Specifically capacity planning and performance tuning, data migration and deploying, monitoring and maintenance of Distributed workloads and Data Bases in Kubernetes environments.
- Knowledge in Kubernetes, multi-cluster deployment of Kubernetes, workflows on Kubernetes, Cloud/Distributed Storage, etc.
- Enterprise systems administrator in a data center environment, including deployment of cloud technologies and automation tools.
- Building, collaborating on the design, deploying, and performing performance tuning, maintain the implementation of on-prem and cloud infrastructure across multiple technologies and data migration.
- Extensive knowledge of Linux based systems including Hardware, software, networking and storage.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge in MinIO, Trino [Distributed DBs], Dask, Rancher, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Be able to assess urgency of issues and facilitate follow-up and resolution accordingly including service quality initiatives to support a “five nines” product availability environment.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, share hardware need upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
