The Senior Master Data Specialist will have a role as a service level keeper for global Material and Vendor Master Data requests processed by the Costa Rica Master Data team. The Senior Data Specialist is also responsible for handling Material and Vendor Master Data requests. They collaborate closely with the Master Data Senior Supervisor and support in other tasks dependent on their knowledge.
Key responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of requests completed (including Rejected/Existing) with attention to detail and accuracy
- Handles standard requests for Vendor, Material and Intercompany. Mainly for requests originating from Americas and EMEA, but also handling requests from other regions as needed
- Update master data related GROUP-documents
- Collection of process improvements
- Global alignment assurance - ensure that the local team, Visp CH, and Nansha CN team are always aligned
- Provide global training to team members and ZMM01/ZMK01 users
- SAP Role Owner ensuring the correct assignment of specific domain related SAP Roles & authorization review of SAP roles, checking on a regular basis that SAP roles are only assigned for those that need them for their jobs
- Support in migration projects for vendor and/or material master data
- While this role is not responsible for data entry previous exposure/familiarity with data entry is beneficial
Key requirements:
- High School Degree minimum, Technical degree, or Bachelor
- Experience with Master Data preferably in Material Master Data
- Experience in AP related processes is preferred
- Language skills - fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus
- Analytical skills, willing to take on new challenges, supports a culture of process improvement and problem solving, deliver results on time
- Make accurate and timely decisions
- Understand internal and/or external customer needs
- Ensures quality standards are maintained while delivering results
