Your Role at Baxter
We are in the process of building a top-tier Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department. Through initiatives aimed at streamlining operations, enhancing systems, improving forecasting precision, and fostering personal growth, we are dedicated to achieving excellence.
This position is a vital component of a distinguished FP&A team, collaborating closely with the Medication Delivery & Therapies business units. You will work alongside the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team, local finance partners, and business associates across various regions to ensure operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include supporting monthly performance assessments, quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-term strategic planning. You will also engage in value-added business analysis, process improvement projects, and various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with local partners and finance teams to analyze projections, budgets, and historical performance.
- Input budget and forecast adjustments into the system for your designated business areas.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly reports, forecasts, and annual budget/strategic plan preparations.
- Prepare a comprehensive monthly report for management, including reviews of budget versus actual results with stakeholders, Cash Flow analysis, and Managed Capital Base assessments.
- Collaborate with FP&A resources within commercial and supply chain sectors to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and escalate issues to finance leadership, emphasizing potential business or operational risks.
- Conduct strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess performance and support decision-making.
- Update process documentation, manuals, guides, and procedures as necessary.
- Assist finance leadership in process improvements, policy formulation, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficient in both spoken and written English (C1 level or higher).
- Demonstrated financial expertise with over 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and reporting.
- Possess a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Highly motivated to consistently deliver outstanding results.
- Experience in a Shared Service Center environment is advantageous.
- Able to perform effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
- Focused on providing exceptional customer service.
- A collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with systems such as Concur, JD Edwards, and HFM is a plus.
