Job Description

The Data Management Specialist will design and create ongoing and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support a product offering that helps Experian's data furnishers enhance and maintain quality of their reported data.

This role requires collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand requirements to create the desired product outcome whether it is an ad hoc request or an ongoing product offering.
  • Translate business needs and requirements into clear data analytics reports.
  • Responsible for key strategic client projects and always delivers the product on time.
  • Ensure the data is available, retrieving the data from various data sources, ordering the data in a visual and structured manner, and deliver the product on time.
  • Consult with key stakeholders: marketing, sales, consulting, operations, and clients concerning requirements for product creation, build, and delivery to enhance data reporting quality.

Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Excellent self-learning skills.
  • Must be proactive.
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Critical thinking with the ability to identify and relate business problems to data quality issues and vice versa.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with an emphasis in packaging and translating analytical results into relevant presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work with teams including technology, operations, marketing, and sales.
  • Ability to creatively work through various system constraints and create holistic dashboards/reports based on data from diverse sources.
  • Credit bureau data and financial industry knowledge a plus.
  • Good knowledge of SQL language and concepts of database (DB2 and MySQL strongly preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with analytical tools for business purposes (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, Microsoft Strategy) is strongly preferred.
