Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support our team in various projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Support new vendor setups, requests for proposals, and administrative tasks related to contracts and service agreements.
  • Contact vendors to source cost-effective parts and services, and input requests into systems to generate purchase orders or use procurement cards.
  • Maintain files of requisitions, receiving reports, and related documents.
  • Lead supplier sustainability and quality programs, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Create reports checking purchase order status, costs, and invoice payments, as well as other projects assigned by the supervisor.
  • Work with operations, finance, and subcontracts teams on invoicing processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in materials management, procurement, purchasing, or a related role in a business environment.
  • High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Excel, with the ability to create performance metrics, charts, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage invoices and coordinate with internal departments.
  • Strong customer service skills to work effectively with various internal teams and vendors.
  • Experience in both procurement and accounts payable is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required, with Spanish or Portuguese being a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Costa Rica.
