HUBER+SUHNER is a leading provider of essential components that transport power and data through networks.

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Inspector to join our team in Heredia.

Job Requirements

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining good workflow by communicating with production and quality personnel.
  • Ensuring all specifications are met and critical features are inspected in accordance with the appropriate inspection criteria.
  • Entering jobs into SAP as required.
  • FOLLOWING ANSI Z1.4 or similar sampling plans.
  • NOTIFYING supervisor or other personnel of issues as they arise.
  • Performing inspection of component parts and assemblies against documented requirements.
  • PERFORMING visual and magnification inspection of components assuring that all dimensions are in accordance with applicable drawing/specifications.
  • READING Blue Prints and inspecting to tolerances of +/-.0001".
  • Rejecting product or materials, or equipment not meeting specifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective written and oral English communication (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • The ability to read, understand, and explain engineering drawings assembly instructions in English.
  • A general understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO Quality Standards and Quality System Regulation.
