The Infrastructure Operations Lead at Auxis is responsible for leading and supporting client's infrastructure environments according to best practices, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance. This role requires the ability to lead a team of POS System Administrators in accordance with company goals and ITIL best practices to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides L1/L2 troubleshooting and manages servers and operating systems, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup, and recovery.
- Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborates with the IT Service Desk, Engineering team, and vendors to expedite issue resolution.
- Reviews logs of events regularly depending on the organization's requirements.
- Plans, coordinates, and prioritizes workload, shifts, and capacity to ensure efficient team performance.
- Looks after the quality of work and compliance with documented procedures, policies, and goals.
- Performs analysis and reporting of different metrics of team performance and incident handling.
- Advocates for and supports the personal and professional development of team members.
- Supports overall management and process improvements in accordance with company goals.
- Leads and/or supports hiring and onboarding of new staff members.
- Follows up team members' yearly goals.
- Contributes to and coordinates the development, review, and curation of documentation to strengthen the knowledge database.
- Conducts monthly, midyear, and annual reviews.
- Receives services for onboarded clients and ensures that the team can deliver.
