Job Summary:
TERUMO BCT is looking for a Quality Operations Manager to oversee the execution of key quality processes at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of a high-quality product, aligning processes with regulations and standards, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Quality Engineers, Quality Supervisors, and Supplier Quality Engineers through final Quality Control and release.
- Understand and support medical device and disposables manufacturing, improving product and process quality through quality management techniques.
- Partner with Global Supplier Quality function to monitor and manage quality across the supply chain.
- Monitor the Product Quality & Compliance health of areas within responsibility and provide metrics to management.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert and Process Owner during audits and inspections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field and relevant experience.
- AQL Certification, formal LEAN manufacturing training, and/or Six Sigma desired.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience, with preferred experience in Quality Assurance and supervisory experience.
- Excellent leadership skills, ability to identify and hire talent to support business needs.
