SAP FICO Tax Consultant Job Description

At Fusion Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Tax Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP FICO modules with a focus on tax-related functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure SAP FICO modules with a focus on tax functionalities, including Edoc cockpit, ICMR, indirect and direct taxes, and withholding taxes.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their tax requirements and provide solutions that ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Design and develop tax processes and workflows within the SAP environment to streamline tax reporting and filing.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and resolve issues related to tax processes within SAP FICO.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of tax-related functionalities in SAP FICO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax processes with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest tax regulations and ensure SAP FICO solutions are aligned with current tax laws and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of tax processes, configurations, and customizations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SAP FICO Consultant with a focus on tax-related functionalities.
  • Expertise in SAP Edoc cockpit, ICMR (Intercompany Reconciliation), indirect taxes (VAT, GST), direct taxes, and withholding taxes.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions.
  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring SAP FICO modules for tax processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within the SAP environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • SAP certification in FICO or related modules is preferred.
