**Job Summary**
As a member of Grupo Stt, we are seeking an Appeals Collector to join our team. This role is responsible for performing follow-up on all appeals submitted to payers for timely payment and resolution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Pursue additional payment on open appeals through various means of communication with payers and patients.
- Overcome objections that prevent payment of claims.
- Gain commitment for payment through concise and factual collection techniques.
- Educate payers and patients on the importance of timely resolution.
- Escalate accounts to appropriate individuals as needed.
- Communicate trends to management as identified.
- Maintain accurate documentation standards to support a strong historical record of actions taken on accounts.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
