About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team in Costa Rica. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and financial close activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare low to medium complexity monthly journal entries and reconcile GL accounts in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Research variances and prepare adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Generate and analyze inventory quantity and valuation reports, as well as standard cost reviews.
  • Perform period-end financial close activities and meet related deadlines.
  • Execute physical inventory counts with warehouse members and update NetSuite inter-month and month-end count inventory variances.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience working in finance or accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3rd year of college in business administration, finance, or accounting, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong market knowledge and experience working across various functions, businesses, and regions.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
