We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts, making sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations.
You will use various hand and power tools and equipment, including jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble parts and mechanisms.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all safety precautions and PPE requirements while completing assigned duties in a safe manner.
- Set-up and operate production lines, ensuring they are running to the production schedule according to work orders.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and address items that fail checks.
- Coordinate the staging and unloading of railcars and tank trucks, taking bulk samples from both and delivering to QC lab.
- Conduct particle count samples and run particle count tests, prepare customer trucks for sealing, sampling, and associated paperwork, inspect and close MPOs, maintain accurate production records.
- Collaborate with Supervisors and Maintenance Personnel to determine equipment set-up and operations, monitor and assist assigned packaging operators, work with Quality Assurance Department to understand, recognize, and rectify quality issues.
