As a Financial Data Analyst at Moody's, you will play a critical role in our ratings and research process. You will work with our team of analysts to analyze financial documents and data, providing valuable insights that inform our credit ratings and research.
Responsibilities:- Perform financial statement analysis and adjust reported data according to relevant methodology requirements.
- Review and analyze financial statements, official statements, and other documents related to issuers' performance.
- Collaborate with ratings analysts to explain the data, adjustments, and other information needed.
- Build documentation and provide mentorship to support analysts and outsourcers.
- Publish data to external market participants.
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Business management, Public Administration, Accounting, or Finance. Additionally, you must have prior experience analyzing financial documents and accounting, and be proficient in English, Microsoft Office products, and Excel. You should also be organized, diligent, able to multitask, and balance priorities, display initiative, and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to quickly transition as priorities change to meet demands.
