Job Mission

We're seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member, you will drive data-driven decision making across the business on strategic projects. Your role involves developing standardized metrics around company growth and creating reporting and visualizations to inform key decisions. You'll partner with cross-functional teams on ad-hoc analyses and provide strategic support to the executive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of key company growth metrics, reporting tools, and data structure to identify and resolve issues, provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or propose new metrics, dashboards, scorecards, or tools
  • Create a centralized repository of growth metrics by collaborating with stakeholders to understand datasets from start to finish and compiling relevant data into easy-to-digest executive reports
  • Design both ad-hoc and systematic reporting and visualizations of growth-related metrics
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions from key metrics tracked for the executive team
  • Manage reporting requirements as project-driven tasks with documented requirements, timelines, and milestones
  • Partner closely with the data warehouse team to architect data-driven solutions for operations reporting requirements
  • Document techniques and train team members on self-service reporting

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Business Management, or related field (desired)
  • 5+ years of report development using enterprise reporting tools like Tableau
  • At least 3-5 years T-SQL development experience
  • Significant experience with Tableau
  • Experience with advanced SQL queries, dbt, Python, and Airflow (a plus)
  • SQL Server skills including SQL object development, performance tuning, data analysis, integration, and stored procedure development
  • Experience with JIRA, SFDC, NetSuite, Big Query, MongoDB data sources
  • Experience with any database, preferably Snowflake
  • Ability to create meaningful datasets and deliver reports and dashboards
  • Ability to understand, document, and communicate business requirements to the technical team
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately independently on multiple projects
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, especially with Sales Teams at all levels
  • Experience analyzing data and interpreting results to provide actionable insights and recommendations

Preferred Skills / Experiences:

  • Exposure to forecasting tools like CLARI and Anaplan
  • A good understanding of Sales Processes - Forecasting, Pipeline, conversion, productivity
  • Knowledge around core subscription metrics like ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Churn, amongst others
