We're seeking a dynamic ServiceNow Software Developer with strong ServiceNow experience and development skills. This individual will work alongside the ServiceNow Principal Architect and Development Teams, sharing responsibility for the overall ServiceNow solution at Splunk.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage CMDB health, integrations, Discovery, and Service Mapping
  • Ensure successful implementation of system improvements
  • Handle incidents per published SLAs, maintain system stability by leading required maintenance schedules, and address system issues impacting SLAs
  • Implement ServiceNow workflows that integrate with external web services
  • Design and develop a workflow framework applicable to multiple workflows and continuing to find opportunities to improve current manual processes
  • Provide standard methodologies for guiding adoption and influencing customers to invest in the solution
  • Define the services ServiceNow delivers and aligns with customers on service definitions, SLAs, and critical metrics
  • Contribute to a ServiceNow roadmap planning investments in system maintenance, upgrade schedules, system improvements, and additions to the ServiceNow ecosystem aligning with IT and SNOW's customers' longer-term goals and objectives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, typically 8+ years of overall ITSM experience and 4+ years' experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
  • ITIL V3 Foundation or above
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
  • Experience of one popular web framework - React, AngularJS
  • Solid experience working with CMDB and Software and Hardware Asset Management modules in ServiceNow
  • Ability to develop web services such as Scripted REST APIs and Rest Messages
  • Experience integrating to multiple data sources used to populate the CMDB (SOAP, REST, Webhooks, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)
  • Experience with standard methodologies of software development - logging, unit testing (ATF), code reviews, etc.
  • Advanced scripting experience utilizing best practice formatting and comments in Script Includes, Business Rules, etc.
  • Experience with upgrades and skipped update remediation
  • Excellent communication skills
