About the Role
Roche is seeking a highly skilled Master Data Management Expert to join our Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our US-based Master Data Management (MDM) team to support data stewardship activities and drive data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data management strategies to optimize data-related processes and improve data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to best practices in data management, governance, and analytics.
- Perform data stewardship activities, including data change requests and data matching and merging.
- Conduct analysis and maintenance of master data, including HCPs, HCOs, payers, and affiliations.
- Design and implement data governance methodologies to enable efficiency and effectiveness in data operations.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant information.
- Prepare presentations to communicate key insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Attend meetings with teams across different time zones to ensure smooth delivery of analytical and operations-related requests.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in data analysis and management, with 2-5 years specifically in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare projects.
- Strong background in data analysis and data management, with experience in managing data projects and data vendors.
- Knowledge of MDM systems, Pharma CRM systems, and cloud platforms is a strong plus.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL, along with knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, details-oriented, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with senior leadership.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology or a relevant discipline, with a preference for Computer Science, Software, Statistics, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and related fields.
