About the Job

Golabs is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing, enhancing, and scaling our platform, which transforms supermarkets into intelligent energy management services.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new features to expand enterprise-scale capability and robustness
  • Create workflows to quickly and reliably release sophisticated software at scale while reducing downtime and risk
  • Engineer reliability and scale into our software, moving from handfuls to thousands of customer sites
  • Leverage the skills of our unique hardware/software cross-functional staff to create innovative solutions to physical engineering challenges
  • Directly help develop key software services from the IoT edge to the cloud

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience implementing DevOps methodology
  • Proficient/advanced level of English (B2 or higher)
  • Experience with Docker, infrastructure automation, web service building blocks, and AWS
  • Web security, databases, deployment workflows, Linux, bash, git, and REST API design

Nice to Have Experience

  • Kubernetes, TDD frameworks, timeseries and graph databases, multi-tenant service architecture, and 'cloudnostic' architecture design
