Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer I to join our remote team based in Costa Rica. The ideal candidate will have experience with full lifecycle activities, including architecture, design, technology evaluation, and coding.
The selected individual will be responsible for adopting best practices, owning and driving the use of common UI components for Imprivata's products, and working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of professional software development experience
- Experience with HTML, CSS, bootstrap.js, and other libraries for developing intuitive User Interfaces
- Great understanding of UI design principles and best practices, including implementation of component libraries
- Well-versed in responsive design and up-to-date with web technologies
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of cloud-deployed SaaS architectures and UI best practices
- Knowledge in developing Web APIs and Restful Web Services
- Familiarity with Relay framework
- Prior Healthcare experience (or strong motivation to work within the field)
- Knowledge of Citrix, VMWare, Virtual desktops is a plus
