About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate .NET Developer to join our team. As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions using C# .NET. Your primary focus will be on gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with complex business rules related to financial areas, including Capital Markets, Private Equity, and Asset Management.
  • Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements, and fixes for existing system bugs.
  • Identify areas of improvement in existing systems and propose creative solutions.
  • Interact dynamically with BA's, QA's, and other peers to clarify business requirements.
  • Develop high-quality solutions in various technologies, including Python, FastAPI, ASP .NET, React, JavaScript, .NET Core, C#, SQL, Web & Rest APIs, and Entity Framework.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code.
  • Design software solutions that efficiently fit into existing application ecosystems.
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
  • Drive projects from inception to completion.
  • Advise on software development best practices.
  • Lead technical design and code reviews to drive projects towards the best results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex methodologies and results to the technical team.
  • Collaborate with the local Unit team initiatives.
Requirements
  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of demonstrable work experience as a software engineer, software developer, or similar function.
  • Ability to lead, own, and drive projects from start to end, including leading other resources of similar or less experience.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
  • Knowledge of the Principles & Patterns of Agile Software.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot existing code and maintain existing systems.
  • Ability to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Experience working with version control tools such as GIT and CI/CD tools like Team City/Jenkins/Octopus.
  • Experience with other development languages, such as Python/unit testing.
  • Experience with middle-tier and back-end development, web APIs, microservices, message queues, database interfaces.
  • Experience with scripting and automation, such as Power Shell, Python.
  • Experience with SQL Server or other database technology.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge on distributed environments, including microservices, AWS, identity server, dockers.
  • Experience with Threading and Performance optimization.
  • Experience with software quality, testing procedures, and build automation tools.
  • Experience with Unit Testing, Mocking, and Dependency Injection frameworks.
  • AWS cloud development experience.
Desired or Nice to Have Expertise
  • Dockers, Containers, Microservices.
  • Terraform.
  • Experience with Front-end development, including React, Angular, JavaScript, and Typescript.
