Financial Reporting Specialist

As a Financial Reporting Specialist in our team at Citi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Your key responsibilities will include preparing accounts for assigned processes in line with global guidelines, adhering to key controls for accounting processes, and integrating established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices to perform accounting transactions.
Responsibilities:- Preparation of Accounts: You will be responsible for preparing accounts for assigned processes in line with global guidelines, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Key Controls: You will adhere to key controls for accounting processes, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and reported.
- Accounting Transactions: You will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices to perform accounting transactions, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Communication: As a member of our team, you will communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Bachelor's Degree: You will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
- English Proficiency: You will have advanced English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Package: You will have good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, and be able to use it to analyze data and create reports.
- Strong Comprehension Skills: You will have strong comprehension skills, with the ability to understand complex financial concepts and procedures.
