About the Role

Experian is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our dynamic internal audit team. As an IT Audit Manager, you will be responsible for designing and leading all aspects of end-to-end IT audits to validate that controls are adequate and functioning effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead all aspects of the end-to-end IT audits to validate that controls are adequate and functioning effectively.
  • Collaborate with Senior Manager and Manager to execute and deliver a complex portfolio of IT audits.
  • Execute assurance/advisory related test work in a variety of computing environments, including cloud, infrastructure, and business systems.
  • Prepare and execute scheduled local and global audits, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Prepare written audit reports that are accurate, objective, constructive, and timely for identifying root causes and developing recommendations for improvement.
  • Effectively communicate audit results to management and auditees.
  • Proactively follow-up, track, and close GIA-identified audit observations. Evaluate agreed-upon action plans to ensure effective risk mitigation.
  • Build an understanding of Experian business and markets to assist in the development of client relationships.
  • Support risk, control, and governance consultancy to business management on strategic initiatives.
  • Support GIA initiatives focused on continuous improvement of internal processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, management information systems, engineering, or other information technology-related field.
  • At least 4 or more years of experience in a corporate Internal Audit function, professional services firm, or relevant technology role.
  • Experience in auditing all aspects of IT, including databases, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networks, and systems.
  • Fundamental understanding of core Information Technology processes and systems.
  • Auditing knowledge in the following areas: IT governance, IT security policies and procedures, IT strategic planning, systems development, system access, change management, business continuity, and project management.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify and assess financial, operational, and information technology risks resulting in the development of an effective audit program.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and build relationships with key individuals necessary for collaboration.

Preferred Skills

  • One professional certification (i.e., CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE, etc.).
  • Data analytics experience (e.g., SQL, CAATs, IDEA, ACL, Monarch, Tableau, Spotfire) a plus, but not required.
