Role Summary:
We are seeking a Credit and Collections Expert to join our O2C teams focused on Cash Application, Client Credit Management, Dispute Management, and Collections. The successful candidate will support the migration of O2C processes from countries throughout the Americas to San Jose, Costa Rica, and prepare O2C related process documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire collections process, including sending reminders and communicating with customers.
- Resolve customer disputes through research and analysis.
- Review clients' credit risk and limit status and recommend changes to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain customer accounts and reconciliation to identify unresolved/unpaid open items.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of AR, credit issues, dispute management, and other collections-related matters.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a financial shared service center supporting multiple countries/business units. A diversified industrial products/manufacturing industry background is preferred, along with prior experience in collections, disputes, and credit management functions in a shared services environment. Strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency in English, and good accounting knowledge are essential. Excellent analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve problems, and strong leadership attributes are also required.
