Material Handler

Ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and transfer of materials to manufacturing lines is a critical function within Edwards Lifesciences.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring continuous production while adhering to local EH&S guidelines, company procedures, and relevant regulations.

• Receive material requisitions from the warehouse and dispatch materials accordingly.
• Place orders for materials with the warehouse team.
• Supply production lines with necessary materials, fixtures, and tools.
• Load materials into Work Orders (WO) in JDE.
• Monitor entry and exit of flammable substances from the clean room.
• Supply alcohol swabs to production lines.
• Perform packaging of goods for shipment, create pick lists, and invoices for outbound shipments using JDE, TRAX, and Forwarder software.
• Prepare materials for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Update production tools (line screens).
• Collect utensils from the floor inside the clean room.

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent; strongly preferred.
• No prior experience in this field is required; however, previous experience in a warehouse environment and forklift operation are highly valued.

• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of computer systems or software such as JDE, TRAX, and Forwarder.
• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they pertain to warehouse operations and clean room medical device manufacturing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend policies and procedures (English speaking preferred).
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, including collaboration with peers in manufacturing and minimum supervision.
• Strict attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adherence to all company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
